Petra Tour From Sharm El Sheikh

You will be transported from your accommodations in Sharm El Sheikh to Taba via a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. The journey typically takes approximately three and a half hours. Upon arrival in Taba, you will receive assistance and guidance to board a boat bound for Aqaba. From there, you will proceed directly to Petra for a full day of exploration. The tour encompasses the magnificent red rose rock city, an ancient Nabataean settlement that is renowned for its remarkable mountain carvings. You will have the opportunity to ride on horseback through the Siq (canyon), a natural crevice in the rocks, and then continue on foot along the 1. 2 km canyon path. Throughout this experience, you can admire the beautiful statues, idols, and niches that adorn the surroundings.

During your journey, you will have the opportunity to witness the treasury, an architectural marvel that has withstood the test of time for over two millennia. Following this, you will proceed along the facades street, where notable landmarks such as the Roman theatre, royal tombs, Roman colonnaded street, and Qasr al-bent await exploration. A satisfying lunch will be provided before transferring you back to Aqaba port for your return cruise to Taba. Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh for a comfortable rest.
