We will be meeting the guest at any location in Sharm El Sheikh, our driver and the tour guide will come to your place and pick you up.
This excursion offers a guided bus tour to the renowned Moses Mountain, the sacred site where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments. The tour will begin in the late evening, with a comfortable pickup from your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh. You will then be transferred for approximately three hours to reach Moses Mountain.
You will begin your ascent of the mountain at 02:00 am, under the guidance of our experienced guide. The hike will last for 3 hours and will take you 2, 285m up. There is a longer trail option available that consists of 700 steps leading to the summit, where you can witness a stunning sunrise and enjoy an incredible view. If hiking is not feasible for you, there is an alternative option of a camel ride that will transport you directly to the starting point of the steps. After sunrise, you will descend and return to Sharm El Sheikh by vehicle.
Upon descending from Mount Sinai, you will be greeted by your guide at the monastery gate. From there, you will have the opportunity to explore notable sites such as the Transfiguration Church, the Burning Bush, and the Prophet Moses’ Well. Subsequently, transportation will be arranged for your return to your hotel in Sharm.
