Temple of Karnak – 1 Hour

Once you arrive in Luxor, you’ll be greeted by your private tour guide who will take you to visit the most famous landmarks of the city of luxor, the Karnak Temple the largest ancient religious site in the world, and marvel at its impressive columns and statues.

Temple of Luxor – 1 Hour

Nestled in the heart of modern-day Luxor, the Luxor Temple is an awe-inspiring testament to the grandeur and power of ancient Thebes. Originally built in the 14th century BC by Amenhotep III, the temple was expanded and renovated over the centuries by pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Alexander the Great, leaving behind a complex of majestic columns, towering obelisks, and intricate reliefs that still leave visitors breathless today.

Valley of the Kings – 1 Hour

We’ll head to the Valley of the Kings, where you’ll explore the tombs of the ancient pharaohs, including the tomb of the famous King Tutankhamun.

Valley of the Queens – 1 Hour

While the Valley of the Kings may be the most famous burial site in Luxor, the nearby Valley of the Queens is a lesser-known gem that is just as deserving of your attention. Home to the tombs of some of Egypt’s most powerful queens and royal children, the Valley of the Queens offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives and beliefs of ancient Egyptian royalty.

Colossi of Memnon – 20 Min

Continue your journey with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which have stood guard at the entrance to his mortuary temple for over 3,400 years.

Temple of Hatshepsut – 1 Hour

After a break for lunch, we’ll head to the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most impressive temples in Egypt. This temple was built for Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh of Egypt, and is known for its unique architecture and stunning location overlooking the valley below. Your guide will provide you with fascinating insights into the history and significance of each site you visit throughout the day.

Later you will be driven back and will be transferred to the airport or the train station to start your trip your back to Cairo.
